If I was a Rich Girl
I just love the plaid bow, two of my favourite things ever.
Nautical, neat, clean, buttons, pleats. Sigh.
Hotpink, gingham, ruffle. Love.
Skyblie, ruffley, gorgeous
I like this, but I don't like the belt.
All from ASOS.com
They may not go together, I can't wear high heels and they may be teeny-tiny photos (blame Topshop) but aren't they cute? All from Topshop.com
Ra-ra-ness and gorgeous Grecian green - from peacocks.co.uk

Don't you want me baby?
I brought another dress today, its really similar to the dress I got last week but its a more casual, collared version. I persuaded Mum to sew some buttons onto it and I am looking forward to wearing it to an internet meet-up I am going to soon, I am going to take my brave juice and try to convince people that I am nice and normal, instead of the stuttery geek I am.

Pimp that Snack!
I've just done some baking and after wryly observing their lacklustre form (they were supposed to be chocolate chip cookies but look like slivers of biscuit) I decided to look at one of my favourite sites to restore my faith.
Pimpthatsnack.com takes ordinary snacks and goes to town on size. Here are some of my favourites:
One of my all-time favourites, party rings. I would happily kill for these.
A cola bottle!
Jelly tots! I LOVE jelly tots.
Look at the size of the chocolate button! I desperately want one
LOOK! Teeny usual Gummi Bears and their overshadowing contemporaries!
I am now a veritable Veruca Salt, running around grabbing Candy and knocking-out Oompah Loopah's

G-l-a-m-o-r-o-u-s
I was toying with showing an honest representation of my day. When I read Fashion Blogs - which is often, like 30 a day - I always wonder how people actually do stuff in their beautiful clothes. They must have glamorous lives to go with their mary-janes, avant garde style and photography skills. If I showcase my day it would involve a lot less socialness:
Average Day:
11:40: Mooch out of bed moaning. Brush teeth. Frown at self in mirror. Roll back into bed and flick Russell Brand podcast on. Diet Cola
12:00pm: Get up, throwing on sweatpants/tshirt and do chores
12:30pm: Laugh at Mum for watching the Daily Mail views of the Loose Women
12:40pm: Play Mario Forever, post on Boosh forum
12:50pm: Read Jezebel.com, some fashion blogs
1:30pm: Play Mario forever. Eat cookie. Diet Cola. Boosh forum
2:00pm: Stick new podcast on, watch episode of Frasier/Boosh/70's show/SATC/Friends
2:30pm: Diet Cola, Sweets, stick on odd socks, stick on fan. Boosh forum
3:00pm: Toy with updating blog, but after reading others feel unworthy.
3:30pm: Check to see Uni results. Mario Forever. Facebook.
4:00pm: Guitar Hero. I was going to post a photo of me, but considering I play with the strap so tight its more of a ukulele - AND - my Guitar Face - I chose not to.
5:00-7:00. Do you not get the pattern by now...?
8:00: I cook dinner, in a gingham apron, stick on stand-up comedy on youtube as I eat
9:00: Change in pj's - an old band tshirt and shorts. Complain about heat. Diet Cola
9:00-1am: Forum, Lowculture forum, Sweets, Podcasts...facebook.
Yep. And I WISH I was making any of that up.

Update
Coming soon, my life is embarrassingly repetitive and fashion-free. It's just old Russell Brand podcasts and Mario Forever. Today I have worn my Anime print pj's and odd heart socks.

Wrong?
Wrong to love this? (from ASOS.com)
Today I was apprehended by a charity worker because he bizarrely thought I was french and asked me something about the weather before my stuttered response gave me away. Then there was a commotion in the shopping centre with people saying Naomi Campbell had been around, which my pal and I laughed off. The laugh ended a couple of hours ago when I looked online to discover she was at Uxbridge Magistrates Court.
Ouch. That hurt.
Not just my response to the news, but the response of her many assistants - all with head wounds.

McMoan
I am becoming old before my time. Although, to be fair, I was always an old person in a young person's body. I love libraries, other people being quiet, good manners and complaining about the weather.
Anyway, I think I have found my kindred spirits, the moaners on BBC's Point of View. A great deal of people saying about the amount of football. I think I am in love, I too am absolutely sick of football being constantly on - its dull, repetitive and overpaid. Now they are showing the hideous Mary Whitehouse and some unattractive young man is chatting on about the watershed. His chest hair is growing up onto his neck, which I don't recall seeing before. I just heard a new voice, looked up to see who the new expert is - its his Dad so I am now typing this giggling inanely.
Now its about a flooding show, some people are calling it the second coming and others are asking for no theatrical pauses. They included views from the messageboard, I would love them to have to say something inappropriate, 'and we have cheeky69sexvixen commenting on credits squeezing'. Whats on next? Songs of Praise. Sorry God, I don't want to see Aled Jones beam with love for you, or see embarrassing middle-aged religious dancing about.
Now that's a Point of View.

Holy Grail
I have done it!
In a sea of strapless floral nightmares I have found a dress that actually suits me. I ran towards the changing room with silent tears of joy sliding down my cheeks, embraced the assistant and swung my bag happily on my 'result' after purchase. I am resigned that in 10 minutes everyone else would have brought it too, but I am still happy. I also got a pink, smock-y, lace-y top thing which sounds horrible typed down but is actually really cute, and 70's ish.

London Calling
Yesterday was a great day, Camden all morning then Hyde Park in the afternoon. It was beautiful and sunny. I attempted to throw a frisbee, ended up nearly blinding my pal and made friends with Little Johnny Shadow.
Hyde Park.
I was on my back, and decided to take a photo celebrating this.
Material girls meet nature
Beautiful fountain, I wanted to stick my feet in it but it had these little fizzing tablets in it and I didn't want my feet to dissolve.
My pretty Camden dancing wheel o' colour
My pal doing the famous bring it on arm, I did shout at her 'THESE are spirit fingers'
Grass. I am tres arty.

Beautiful Poem, Beautiful Dress
This poem may be overused - its a popular funeral poem and it was used in the classic scene from Four weddings and a Funeral - But its exquisite and deserves individual acclaim, its Auden. To balance this I am also showing a gorgeous new gown from ASOS.
Funeral Blues
Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.
Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message He is Dead.
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.
He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought love would last forever: I was wrong
The stars are not wanted now; put out every one,
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun,
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the woods;
For nothing now can ever come to any good.
