ASOS.com has been great recently, and i loved their style icons section, where they update a style icon's look to reflect current fashion.
For the Vamp look they focused on Lauren Bacall:
Coat: £75, Top, £20, Lace Top: £45
For Sex Kitten they looked at Bridgitte Bardot:
Blouse, £60, Skirt: £12, Hat: £12
For the Punk Princess look they looked at Debbie Harry:
Jeans: £40, Rainbow Tshirt: £16, Shoes: £12
For the rebel look they looked to Marianne Faithful:
Jacket: £85, Leggings: £12, Bag: £6

Kate Moss
Hey Y'all,
After all the hype about Kate Moss's last collection which i thought was pretty dull apart from the printed tea dress that everyone brought, i wondered how this collection would fare. Apparently, only one person q'ed in London and even they walked out empty handed.
However, after looking on Topshop.com i quite liked some of the clothes, and i even thought they would be flattering on someone bigger than Kate.
Cardigan: £45, Dress: £60, Tuxedo Jacket: £80 and Bag, £45

Makeovers!
Stardolls reminds me of the fashion craft set i loved as a child, where you choose a tile of a head, torso and legs and then used a crayon and paper to rub on the design. I used to be obsessed.
This site is leading on from this, with a selection of outfits in the celebrity's style to choose from - this made my makeover of Avril Lavigne hard! - But its fun to choose what you think they would look good in:
So what do you think? Improvement?

Tights
I really love wearing tights, and since i was disapointed by what i had seen in the shops i decided to look online for cute designs and colours. I was not disapointed.
These are from ASOS.com and are £5 in these colours. I think i prefer the blue:
And how gorgeous are these tights, from http://www.mytights.com/ all about £9

Purchase
Hi!
I recently brought a teal turtleneck jumper on impulse which i thought would look cute and comfy. It doesn't. It looks mumsyish and dull.
Any hints on how to jazz it up?

Real Fashion
Is anyone else a little bored of fashion week(s) by now? For weeks, its been photo after photo after photo of silent mannequins and i feel that a real fashion show, with real people and real expressions would make me more interested. I may love Marc Jabobs, but aspirational fashion gets dull after a while. Whereas looking at Primark's winter collection is fun and easy! I can almost see the hoards fighting for the black coat!
Topshop's new Gamine collection is gorgeous:
and this top by Laura Lee's is now £20
And this is from Ebay - incredibly expensive but gorgeous!
What do you think? Like anything?

Award Show do's and don'ts
They have millions of dollars and top stylists at their disposal and yet stars still turn up
in outfits like this:
Paula, Paula, Paula. Chest looks funny, it looks like you had a Judy Finnigan moment and didn't realise.
I don't even know who Phoebe is, but i hate this outfit. It looks cheap, her skin looks greasy, the sheer panels....ergh.
I may not really hate this, but i don't love it. It makes her look huge and it looks like
she would give passers by a huge dose of static.
Jaime is gorgeous, so why oh why did she chose a boring black dress which does little for her?
Hayden is even more gorgeous, and i love the colour and neckline but the huge expanse of creased fabric just ruins it all.
Now - Yay!- Outfits i loved!:
Love it, the colour, shape, the black outline. Bravo Gracie!
I will forgive her the belt, for the gorgeous colour and fit
The dress is so pretty, with the colour and the bow matching her hair, eyes and lipstick.
Although she looks a little thin to me, Sarah's look is really pretty, all lilac flounces and curls.

Aspirational Shopping - Good?
Although i live in Primark and Peacocks, a girl can dream and Net-A-Porter offers beautiful designer clothes. Personally, i think browsing the site allows me to see the gorgeous designs without actually spending £400 on a Chloe white long-sleeved jumper.
Besides, i may love Marc Jacobs but does this look dirty to anyone else?
http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/21624. Its like Alice in Wonderland
got dirty when she was down the rabbit hole and someone has slapped a £280 price
tag on it.
http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/23370 this i love
and this is darling http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/24232 but god its pricey!
I think i'll just face reality, and covet this instead

What I bought this week!
Well, technically on Friday but that lacks flair. In Primark i found my dream coat, in Teal with big buttons and a snuggly feel to it - if i could marry a coat it would be this one (£15!) i also brought a pair of metallic sheen tights (£2.50) and buy rummaging through the piles of sale smock-tops i found this cute mustard cardie for only £2. I took some photos, to show of my new favourite things:
